Adventures in Autumn
Pumpkin patches and fall festivals are right around the corner! As summer phases out, autumn will take over, with falling leaves, earlier sunsets, and fun festivals. You’ll want to get out and enjoy the cooler temps and try all the fun events in and around Georgetown. We found several to help you celebrate the season with food, drink, games, activities, and of course, lots of pumpkins.
Sweet Eats Adventure Farm
Traverse one of the grandest mazes in the state during the Central Texas Fall Festival at Sweet Eats Adventure Farm in Georgetown. The fabulous attraction is open daily for a weekend trip or a special weekday adventure! A main attraction is the AI-themed corn maze paired with a giant Texas-sized sorghum-covered pumpkin patch. Try to navigate the 4.5-acre maze while completing AI-themed riddles. Plus, you can enjoy a Zoofari, pig races, face painting, pony and wagon rides, apple and candy cannons, food trucks, and other farm-themed activities. Fireworks cap off each Friday and Saturday in October, too! In October, you can also see Paula Saletnik, a pro-gun twirler with two .45-caliber revolvers, who will dazzle you with her gunwork and bullwhip cracking. Get your tickets online here.
Robinson Family Farm
Take the whole family to Georgetown’s Robinson Family Farm for the Fall in Love Festival weekends from September 23rd to November 5th! There are endless options for family fun at this fall favorite. Take a tour through a house made of pumpkins, catch a duck and pig race, and try your hand in the Gaga ball pit. The numerous activities will no doubt lead to a scoop of ice cream for the little ones and a wine tasting for the adults! Check out their website for more details and get your tickets in advance for half price here — yes, half price!
Texas Pumpkin Fest
