The annual Blazin’ Beer Crawl is a favorite event for locals and tourists! Participants spend the afternoon in fabulous downtown Georgetown venturing from storefronts to restaurants on a self-paced craft beer-tasting journey.

What is the Blazin’ Beer Crawl?

Here’s how it works: Each participant gets a crawl map with tasting sites marked. Plus, they get a keepsake-tasting glass to use at each stop! You pick your starting point, and the possibilities are endless from there. Each location has a different beer to taste, and it is up to the participant in what order to go in. One strategy would be to plan your route around the stops with hot and spicy snacks. All the brews are local craft beers, so they’re easy to find around Georgetown. Make sure to take note of your favorite!

The downtown restaurants are also open, offering event-day specials to enhance the experience. And food trucks are conveniently located downtown for more munching options.
