Father’s Day in Georgetown
Why choose just one gift for Dad this Father’s Day with so many choices around Georgetown? Treat him to classic cars, Maine lobster, local bourbon, live music, and a gift on June 18.
Cruise in to Help Kick Cancer
Take a trip down memory lane at Classics Against Cancer, Georgetown’s annual Father’s Day classic car show on the scenic lawns of Cedarvale Park in beautiful downtown Georgetown.
Drink free Tim Horton’s coffee while you see the Mustangs, Corvettes, Morpar, and muscle cars in themed areas. Stroll through the rows of vendors where you may find a special gift for Dad, and enjoy drive-in-style food for lunch. Gates open at 7:30 am, admission ranges from $3 to $5, and parking is $5. All proceeds benefit the Childhood Cancer Campaign. Now in its 33rd year, this show has helped to raise over $1,000,000 for this cause.
Chow on Cousins Maine Lobster
If Dad likes lobster (and who doesn’t, really?), celebrate his special day with Cousins Maine Lobster at Barking Armadillo Brewing in Georgetown. Chow from 12 pm to 7 pm on authentic Maine eats like lobster rolls, bisque, and lobster tails with tater tots. Use the Cousins Maine Lobster (CML) mobile app to earn rewards points and skip the line.
Iron Wolf Ranch & Distillery
Celebrate Father’s Day at Iron Wolf Ranch & Distillery with locally distilled bourbon, live music, cigars, and more. Get there at noon for the best seats, and stay until 6 pm to enjoy all the special events. Enjoy Iron Wolf’s high-rye mash bourbon, bourbon-barrel-aged rum, cinnamon or butterscotch whiskey, horseradish or unflavored vodka, and gin at the distillery at 101 Co Rd 409 in Spicewood.
Give Dad a Special Gift
Along with a shared experience for the day, get Dad a gift from the Men’s Health Best Father’s Day Gifts list. Maybe a rechargeable mosquito-repelling device for the hot Texas summers. Or Wolk & Shepherd Crossover Longwing dress shoes to impress the office crew. If he likes to grill, a Victory 21-inch Kamado Grill & Smoker may be the perfect present. Give him Lululemon Commission golf shorts for all his outings and a Goal Zero Sherpa 100PD wireless portable power bank so he can charge his phone no matter where he goes. These are just a few ideas—come up with your own, or click the link above to see the others on this list!
