Georgetown’s 11th Annual Boo Bash
The Downtown Georgetown Association’s 11th Annual Boo Bash will take place on Sunday, October 30th, from 1-4 PM in Georgetown Square. Everyone’s invited to come in costume and enjoy trunk or treating, a live DJ, and activities hosted by Downtown Georgetown Association, Wag Heaven, and Williamson Museum.
It’s a great way to kick off Halloween a day early and on the weekend, as the streets will be filled with goodies from local nonprofits and businesses. There is so much family-friendly fun planned for the event!
Boo Bash Events:
3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest
Wag Heaven is putting on two different contest categories for this year’s Boo Bash. There is a prize for the most original dog costume and also a prize for the best owner/dog duo. Registration for the contest is at 1 PM and costs $10. The contest will be held and judged at 2:30 PM.
Photo Ops Hosted by Williamson Museum
You can use props and the dress-up area for unique photo ops this year thanks to the Williamson Museum. Their authentic, old-timey props and set items make for great pics that capture the Halloween spirit and make great memories. Perhaps these photos will even end up on this year’s Christmas card?
