Georgetown’s 11th Annual Boo Bash

The Downtown Georgetown Association’s 11th Annual Boo Bash will take place on Sunday, October 30th, from 1-4 PM in Georgetown Square. Everyone’s invited to come in costume and enjoy trunk or treating, a live DJ, and activities hosted by Downtown Georgetown Association, Wag Heaven, and Williamson Museum.

It’s a great way to kick off Halloween a day early and on the weekend, as the streets will be filled with goodies from local nonprofits and businesses. There is so much family-friendly fun planned for the event!

Boo Bash Events:

3rd Annual Pet Costume Contest

Wag Heaven is putting on two different contest categories for this year’s Boo Bash. There is a prize for the most original dog costume and also a prize for the best owner/dog duo. Registration for the contest is at 1 PM and costs $10. The contest will be held and judged at 2:30 PM.

Photo Ops Hosted by Williamson Museum

You can use props and the dress-up area for unique photo ops this year thanks to the Williamson Museum. Their authentic, old-timey props and set items make for great pics that capture the Halloween spirit and make great memories. Perhaps these photos will even end up on this year’s Christmas card?

Parking

Lots of families come into town from Austin and the surrounding areas to join in on the fun, which means downtown parking will fill up quickly. It’s a good idea to park in any one of the free parking zones near downtown to avoid the 3-hour parking limits on downtown streets. Here’s a map of free parking in Downtown Georgetown to start planning your evening!
