Summer camps, wilderness trails, parks, outdoor movies, community events, world-class staycations, and more are on tap for the whole family. The Sunset Movie Series

Georgetown’s Sunset Movie Series is a free summer film series where you can watch family films projected on a massive outdoor screen in San Gabriel Park.

 

Bring a blanket or chairs, some snacks and enjoy the family movies scheduled for this summer. Movies being shown include:

  • 2021’s Raya and the Last Dragon (showing Friday, June 10), 
  • 1991’s classic Hook (showing Friday, July 15)
  • 2021’s Encanto (showing Friday, August 12)

 

All movies are rated PG and will start at dusk, around 8:30 p.m.  Come out early for free popcorn and activities!

Summer Camps

Georgetown Parks and Rec offers a huge variety of summer camps for kids. From sports camps, adaptive camps, enrichment camps, and adventure camps, there is a fun camp for every kid, no matter their particular interests.
