Located next door to ThunderCloud Subs in Downtown Georgetown, RentSch Brewery is a craft brewery in Georgetown, Texas, famous for its German-style beers. Founded by father and son David and Andrew Rentschler, the inspiration for opening a brewery began in Europe, where Andrew studied German.
The facility is powered by “wind and solar energy,” making their output 100% renewable. Their beer collection combines old and new world styles, offering something for everyone, including Hefeweizen, Weizenbock, Blonde, IPA, and Special Releases.

Barking Armadillo Brewing

Barking Armadillo Brewery, founded in 2017, is a Texan family-owned and operated brewpub dedicated to brewing premium beer with “carefully selected ingredients” to deliver fresh and tasty pours.
They began as “homebrewers” in 2013, experimenting with various beer styles, malts, and hops until they refined their craft. Their menu includes signature brews, rotating guest taps, hand-selected wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Their taproom has since become a “local neighborhood melting pot for all,” and they look forward to bringing the community together through taproom activities and supporting local community members in any way they can.
Barons Creek Winery

Barons Creek, located amidst the historic Georgetown downtown square, is the ideal spot to enjoy finely curated wines from grapes obtained from specialty growers in Texas, Washington, California, and Spain.
Taste some of their wines, including the “best Chardonnay,” as well as the phenomenal Sauvignon Blanc and Rose, while pairing it with a charcuterie and cheese board. Be sure to explore the gorgeous piano lounge area and 50-foot wine bar with plenty of seating areas.

Grape Creek Winery

Georgetown Winery

Georgetown Winery, which resembles a pub from the early 1930s, is housed in a 127-year-old historic structure on Georgetown Square. While the space is small and rustic, with only a few tables and a few seats at the bar, it is home to several award-winning wines.
Georgetown Winery, famous for being the first winery in Williamson County, is a lovely spot if you’re roaming around Georgetown’s main square and want to sample a variety of wines.
Aside from the array of fine wines, there’s also a large assortment of flavored olive oils that you won’t get at your grocery store. There are live music performances in addition to superb wine and courteous staff.
